Refund policy

1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days – EU Law)

In accordance with the Swedish Distance Selling Act, private consumers within the EU have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days from the day they receive the order.
To exercise this right, please contact us in writing at info@scandiatails.com before the withdrawal period expires.

Please note: Even if our suppliers do not accept returns, Scandia Tails honors the 14-day withdrawal right in compliance with Swedish e-commerce regulations.

Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, as permitted by law when clearly stated.

2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us first by emailing info@scandiatails.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will provide you with the correct return address, depending on the product and supplier.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Important: Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

3. Exceptions – Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns for the following:

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Items that have been used or damaged by the customer

  • Opened pet hygiene products

  • Items clearly marked as “non-returnable”

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it.
Kindly include clear photos of the issue, and we’ll help arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.

5. Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

  • If you paid using Klarna or another service, your refund will be processed through that platform.

  • Original shipping charges are refunded only if the return is due to our error or a defective item.
